The science-fiction movies would have us believe that robotics will soon dominate our lives. Recent films such as I, Robot and AI offer an exciting glimpse into a potential future where human beings live and robots, but we are still far from what decades. Although great strides in computers and robotics miniaturization rooted in traditional manufacturing and supply of industrial products, there is still much to learn.
