Sen. Ted Cruz covered everything from Darth Vader to Dr. Suess to White Castle sliders during his marathon Senate floor speech. But it was one portion that caught the eye of “Duck Dynasty” star Willie Robertson, who tweeted that a “little duck wisdom might help Wash. DC.”

Mikhail Kalashnikov, inventor of the AK-47, has died at the age of 94.

Piers “Musket” Morgan quickly, and predictably, sprang into action:

Here’s an idea for a solution, Morgan-style:

http://twitter.com/#!/johnasbury/status/299685826449772545

The search for ex-LAPD officer Christopher Dorner, suspected of killing three earlier today, is continuing into the night. At an 8:30 p.m. Eastern press conference, several law enforcement representatives gave updates on the manhunt. Earlier this afternoon, police found Dorner’s burned-out truck near Big Bear ski resort in California, but a set of tracks leading from the scene did not lead to the suspect.
