Data Center Relocation

3. Poor staffing

Ultimately, plans and procedures are as good as the people who have the following. So not a good idea to hire a larger firm to move thousands and thousands of dollars in mission-critical equipment highly sensitive.

Moving companies that specialize in data center moves may cost a bit more, but more than offset the savings when the action is effective, safe, minimizing downtime, and free from damage and loss (with the added benefit of peace of mind that comes with trusted professionals thrown in free).

4. Failure of the plan

When all goes well, it might be tempting to switch to autopilot, doing what feels natural, withheld from, and simply navigate through what lies ahead. Stick to the plan until the end.

Of course, your plans should be flexible enough to account for unexpected factors and changes-a dogmatic approach is almost as risky as a sloth. But far from diverting the plan that began with the cause of laziness, complacency, or simple mistakes can have enormous consequences.
