Case for Mobile Devices in Automation

A field technician working on a online dangerously alive, because the control is closed the wrong line!
A field operator and call the control room to describe systems team because he / she do not have access to an HMI or drawings on the floor at the time.
A field operator to call the control room to get the manual for a piece of equipment that panel where he / she is looking at is different from others that he / she is used to.
An operator must describe the radio what he / she is seeing - light on a panel, leaks, etc.
The operator must have a checklist for the field, back to the control room and enter the results in a form or worksheet or HMI control.
Constantly call back and forth between the field and control room during testing and calibration of a measuring element or control.

A mobile device can be used to remotely control processes and equipment, see drawings or manuals, go through a checklist online, entering information into a form, add value as a tool for remote collaboration.

When configured correctly, and in combination with access control based on user roles, a variety of new opportunities are revealed. The time saved in the field can now be used to perform other tasks or run optimization programs. A workforce safer, more productive is a very real advantage, and it is not something that employers or managers take lightly.
