Technology for next generation (Wi-Fi).

WI-FI represents the future of computer and internet connectivity worldwide. Wi-Fi allows building a local area connection without wires which in turn reduces the cost of network deployment and expansion. Spaces wherein cabling is not possible can also be covered for a wireless connectivity which results in coverage as compared to wired networking.

Networking organizations have succeeded in joining the world through a wireless network and have also established their own technical support centers for their complete product support. One of the major networking organizations i.e. CISCO have outsourced their product support to organizations that were pioneer in providing one of the best online computer help.

Online Microsoft windows Vista supports provides help to connect to a wireless network using the windows utility. Windows too consist of a utility which enable the wireless adapter to connect to a wireless network. Software's, driver’s information for Intel wireless Adapters are available. Rest such as Netgear, Linksys, Broad com and many more are providing their own voice based tech support to home as well as business users.

In spite of being so advanced technology, it consists of few disadvantages as well and one of the most important is its limited range. In order to overcome this limitation, access points are developed to increase the range of radio signals emitted through wireless devices. However, it increases the cost of the network as it includes stock antenna's which is much more costly than a basic wireless Router.
